Welcome to the Monthly Scoop - July 2024
Welcome to this issue of Little Landmine's newsletter! It’s July - summer is in full swing. Time for Independence Day and the start of the Summer Olympics! What are your summer plans? The Monthly Scoop is where we share contests, giveaways, trivia, Pet of the month, and more. Keep an eye out for future newsletters, as we'll be featuring different topics each month. We welcome any feedback for what you would like to see! Let's make this fun!
Giving Back Corner:
Did you know Little Landmines donates $5 per new client each month to a local non-profit? For June, we chose House of Hope Animal Rescue in North East, MD. We had 10 new clients and donated $50 to them! This month we also made one large donation to help pay off student lunch debt at the Appoquinimink School District. We donated $500 and used our big check for the first (but not the last) time! We hope to make the big check donation at least once a year! We will also be running our Christmas in July toy Drive with Elaina’s Blessings, so stay tuned for that!

Did you Know?
We install and service waste stands in neighborhoods? Talk to your HOA or property management company and have them reach out to us! We install stands, clean common areas, replace all the bags, dispose and deodorize! It’s more affordable than you think! If we are your neighborhood’s preferred pooper scooper and take care of the stands, we discount residential yards as well!

Friendly Reminder during Summer:
From our policy page: We work during all seasons, however in the case of extreme weather, we may need to skip a scooping visit. During the summer, this includes excessive heat over 90 degrees. We don't credit any visits skipped due to extreme weather conditions, as we expect to pick up twice the amount of dog poop the following visit. We appreciate your understanding, as the safety of our techs and clients is our #1 priority.
Trivia:
Other than the animals depicted as Olympic Games mascots, what is the only current Olympic event that involves animals? Send your answer to us at [email protected] and be entered in our contest for a free visit! Our winner for June was Devonia M., who was one of many of you who knew that Jon Arbuckle’s dog’s name is Odie! Thanks for playing, and Devonia, please reach out to claim your free visit on your next statement!
Pet of the Month:
Meet Pua the bulldog! Pua belongs to one of our Smyrna area techs, and she lives with her dog and bunny siblings! Thanks for letting us share your pup! Want your pet featured? Email us at [email protected]
