Little Landmines Mid-day Walks Policies & Agreements
Service Description: The Little Landmines independent technician agrees to provide regular dog walking services as specified by the client. The services were discussed in a mandatory Meet & Greet with the client and technician before services start. Our visits are 30 minutes long each visit. If poop scooping services are also needed during the visits, we will discount the scooping by 25%.
Schedule: We will establish a mutually agreed-upon schedule for dog walks. In the event of schedule changes, we will make every effort to notify the client 24 hours before the service. This may be affected by inclement weather, illness, or other emergencies. If client needs to cancel a walk, we ask for the same notification of 24 hour before to the best of their ability.
Access: The client agrees to provide necessary access to the dog(s), including keys, access codes, and any relevant information. The technician agrees to handle access information with confidentiality and ensure the security of the client's property. If we arrive at the home for a scheduled walk and are unable to access the property, we will call you. If we are unable to reach you, we will wait 10 minutes for a return call before having to leave. We do not credit for missed visits if we make the attempt and can not access the house. We will not enter the home through any other way and our technicians are instructed to never jump a fence or enter unlocked windows, etc.
Health and Safety: The client may be asked to provide up-to-date vaccination records upon request and inform the technician of any health concerns or special instructions. The technician will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the dog(s) during walks.
Emergency Procedures: Safety of our technicians and you and your pets are our #1 concern. If the dog needs emergency veterinary care during our walks, we will seek care immediately from the vet info provided by you. Little Landmines and the technician are not responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred during the provision of services.
Liability: Little Landmines and the technician are not liable for any injuries, loss, or damage that may occur during the provision of services unless resulting from gross negligence or intentional misconduct. The client is responsible for any damage caused by their dog(s) to third parties or property.
Payments: Little Landmines in a subscription service. Your monthly payment will be simple and predictable because we use monthly averaging, which allows us to charge you the same amount each month. (Some months have 4 weeks, some months have 5 weeks, so monthly averaging allows your monthly bill to be the same amount every month). This allows for predictable billing so you're always sure what your fee will be every single month! If you cancel at any time we refund in full any owed visits.
After the first invoice and visits are complete, your upcoming monthly fee will be charged to the card on file, usually around the 20th of the month. If you need to change the date, please let us know and we can accommodate, as long as it is before the first day of the following month. We can stop this at any time if you suspend or pause services.
Cancel: Either party may cancel the service with proper notice. In case of cancellation, any outstanding payments must be settled. Little Landmines is a subscription service, and we refund any unused visits if you cancel at any time.
