MOT Trivia
Did you know?
Around here, we rarely treat Middletown, Odessa and Townsend like three completely separate places. Together, they are simply known as “MOT.”
Middletown is home to Delaware's beloved Olde Tyme Peach Festival, held every August since 1994. The festival celebrates the area's agricultural roots with peach desserts, local vendors, live music, and one of the state's largest small-town festivals.
The 1989 Academy Award-winning film Dead Poets Society, starring Robin Williams, was filmed at St. Andrew's School in Middletown. Fans still visit the beautiful campus, where many of the movie's most memorable scenes were shot.

MOT Poop Fact
Our technicians remove thousands of pounds of dog waste from local yards. That means fewer surprise shoe disasters, fewer smelly afternoons and many more backyards people can actually enjoy.
Why Regular Scooping Matters
Dog waste is not lawn fertilizer. Leaving it behind can create bad odors, attract flies, make lawn care unpleasant and leave your outdoor space much less inviting.
Regular cleanup makes it easier for your family and pets to enjoy the yard without constantly scanning the ground for danger.
Why We Love MOT!
MOT may be growing quickly, but it still has the connected, familiar feeling of a hometown community. We have called this area home since 1997 and have put down roots here.
We are proud to serve its families, support local organizations and help make hundreds of neighborhood backyards a little cleaner every week.
Frequently Asked Poop Questions
How often should my yard be cleaned?
Most families choose weekly service because it keeps the yard consistently manageable. Biweekly service and one-time cleanups are also available.
Do I need to be home during service?
No. As long as our technician can safely access the service area, you can go about your day while we take care of the yard.
Can my dog stay outside?
Friendly dogs may usually remain outside. Dogs that are aggressive, highly protective or uncomfortable with visitors must be secured indoors during service.
Do you scoop in the rain?
We work in most normal weather. Severe weather, unsafe conditions or extreme heat may require a schedule adjustment.
Do you take the dog waste with you?
Not always. Per the EPA, we double bag and leave the waste in your outdoor trash or where you tell us. We do remove off premises in some locations.
Do you service neighborhoods and HOAs?
Yes. Little Landmines offers pet waste station installation, maintenance and cleanup services for communities and shared areas.
